|Bryson City Bellydance |
In our classes at Studio Rumba by Sussy, we don't concentrate on one particular style, but work on basic skills, techniques and patterns of movement common across the many styles. Isolations, shimmies and even moods expressed through the dance are discussed and learned each class. Students who develop an interest in specific styles will be encouraged to further study and move forward with the basic tools to expand and specialize.
We periodically bring in instructors from out of town to teach wonderful workshops on a variety of topics, from finger cymbals to group improve.
Anyone who wants to learn is welcome in our classes. Age, height, weight, previous experience…let none of these things stop you from learning and enjoying this beautiful and fulfilling art form!

|Sirens In Sanity Belly Dance |
If you are looking for just plain old belly dancing, don't look here! There is nothing plain about Sirens In Sanity classes...At each class, students are encouraged to dress in colorful dance attire, skirts, harem pants, bodysuits or bras, and noisy coin belts. Sirens believe that the richness of your dress will transfer over into a richness in your dancing. Sirens In Sanity has built its reputation upon a dance style which is unique, original, and creative. Students get more than basic belly dance technique, they learn how to apply the technique to their own particular essence which allows each dancer to develop a style of their own. Students learn not only the essential belly dance movements of the hips, stomach, arms, shoulders and head, they also learn how to perform with confidence and keep the audience wanting more! This is a strength of Sirens In Sanity and their students and troupe members are proof of their success. "Dynamic", "Expressive", "Elegant", and "Diverse" are the words which have been used to describe Sirens In Sanity performances. Classes are taught by Tammi "Yasmine" Fabris.
